About the National Consumer Congress

The National Consumer Congress is an annual conference that brings together consumer groups, community organisations, government and other experts to explore the key issues facing Australian consumers.

This year's conference will be held on Friday 19 June 2026, 8.30am - 4.30pm AEST at:

  • Sofitel Darling Harbour, 12 Darling Dr, Sydney NSW 2000 for in-person attendees
  • Online via livestream for virtual attendees.

An invitation providing registration details will be circulated soon.

Spaces for in-person attendance are strictly limited due to capacity constraints.

Online attendance

The virtual component of the event is not capped in the same way as our traditional face-to-face event. This will allow a larger number of participants from consumer and community sector organisations.

This event is invitation only and only registered attendees will be sent links for the live stream.
