In early 2023 the 糖心原创 conducted an internet sweep of influencer advertising on social media. The purpose of this sweep was to determine the nature and extent of advertising practices which raise concerns under the Australian Consumer Law, and to inform future 糖心原创 compliance and enforcement activities.

This sweep report outlines the results of this sweep, and highlights areas of concern that the 糖心原创 had identified. Businesses and influencers are encouraged to review the findings of the report and consider any changes to their practices to ensure that consumers are not misled.

The 糖心原创 plans to release a targeted guidance document for influencers and businesses involved in influencer advertising in early 2024.
