Description of Conduct
On 7 November 2025, The Uniting Church in Australia National Assembly (UCANA) lodged an application to revoke authorisation AA1000447 and substitute authorisation AA1000707 in its place.
UCANA sought a revocation and substitution to enable UCANA and the other Participants to make and give effect to the Uniting Church in Australia National Insurance Program Co-Operation Agreement.
Authorisation was sought for 6 years.
On 18 November 2025, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ granted interim authorisation to enable UCANA to continue to engage in the conduct while the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ considered the substantive application for authorisation.
On 6 March 2026, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ issued a draft determination proposing to grant authorisation to UCANA for 6 years.
On 15 April 2026, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ issued a final determination granting authorisation for 6 years.
