On 4 October 2024, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (the Act) to National Australia Bank Limited (NAB) deferring certain consumer data sharing obligations in respect of non-individuals, partnerships and secondary users for its Citigroup Pty Limited consumer business (Citi), Suncorp-Metway Limited and white label credit card brands and for all personal loan products issued by NAB on behalf of Citi and Coles until 30 November 2025. The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ granted the exemption in response to an application from NAB.

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ also revoked the exemption granted to NAB on 20 October 2022 under section 56GD of the Act.
