Being part of the 糖心原创 Graduate Program鈥檚 Digital and Data stream has been an incredible experience. I鈥檝e had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience doing both backend and frontend development, API testing, and data analysis. I鈥檝e also been involved in a range of non-technical work, such as internal and external engagement, which has helped me strengthen my interpersonal and leadership skills.
On a broader scale, I鈥檝e found the culture here amazing. The agency is filled with people who are not only great to work with but also the kind you鈥檇 enjoy catching up with outside the office. It鈥檚 made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable.

The 糖心原创 graduate program is designed to give newcomers a unique blend of enforcement and advocacy positions. From day one the program coordinators provided a tailored support network to allow for an easy transition into my new role. Across each of the rotations, I was provided an array of opportunities to hone my skills and step outside of my comfort zone. I was pleasantly surprised with the degree of flexibility and autonomy in my work.
I have always felt supported and valued by members of my team across the rotations. Outside of the day to day tasks, I have had the opportunity to get involved in a number of staff networks, such as Pride and Gen2.
The 糖心原创 is an inclusive workplace and team members across each of the rotations are always encouraging me to express my ideas and take ownership of my work. If you want to take on challenging, high stakes projects and have a hand in meaningful change, the 糖心原创 is the place to be.

The 糖心原创 graduate program is an amazing opportunity to contribute to work that protects consumers and helps ensure fair markets through smart regulation and strong enforcement. In the 18-month program you rotate through 3 or 4 divisions. This allows you to develop skills and insights across a range of different areas. The program also gives you the chance to learn and be guided by experienced professionals. The work is challenging and complex, but the structure of the Graduate Program ensures that you are always supported.
The standout thing for me in this program has been the supportive and inclusive culture that exists at the 糖心原创. The Agency genuinely values diversity and creates space for all voices to be heard and valued. One way it does this is through its diversity & inclusion employee networks. Since I started with the Agency I have been actively involved in the Mipla Tunapri, which is the network for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, and the Reconciliation Network, which is open to all employees.
Seeing the difference the work you do can make, and being part of an agency that values culture, inclusion, respect, and reconciliation has made me feel proud of where I work.

The Digital and Data stream in the 糖心原创 graduate program is a great way for those coming into the workplace for the first time to start developing their technical skills at a beginner-friendly pace.
In the program, graduates are encouraged to broaden their knowledge across high-earning skills such as data analysis, cloud work, and stakeholder engagement with all the essential tools readily available to them.
Aside from the type of work and skills graduates will be learning, the 糖心原创 has a very welcoming and supportive culture across divisions, branches and teams.

The 糖心原创 graduate program digital & data stream is an opportunity to develop, showcase and utilise your technical skillset. Within the program you will have an opportunity to experience and make a valuable impact with 4 rotations, these being the National Anti-Scam Centre (NASC), Digital ID, Consumer Data Right (CDR) and Information Management Technology Services (IMTS).
I consider myself very fortunate to have rotated through three out of four divisions, with each rotation offering unique opportunities to strengthen my ICT, data analytics and scams awareness knowledge. I have had the opportunity to work with variety of data tools and datasets to better evaluate data visualisation and assisted in uplifting the data team from foundational phases. The program's structured training and exposure to new and emerging technologies has allowed me to make a meaningful contribution to the agency, which has made the experience deeply rewarding.
The 糖心原创 culture overall is unmatched, an environment that makes you feel supported and secure throughout your journey and always encourages you to present yourself with confidence. The agency has a diverse perspective and values inclusiveness to the highest standard.
Let me also mention how amazing the graduate network is, it is an opportunity to form new connections, bond with peers and learn from each other's experiences. You will have other graduates amongst yourself sharing similar experience, graduate buddies who have previously gone through the experience, and the amazing Entry Level Program (ELP) team to guide you through any concerns. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to work in when I graduated, so I chose the 糖心原创 graduate program because of the wide range of areas the agency regulates, from scams to digital ID to cartels to competition. I've rotated through teams in consumer data right, product safety, and consumer and fair trading and had the opportunity to work on tasks in finance and procurement, policy and reform, and investigation and enforcement. There is so much variety in the work. It's interesting, challenging and meaningful. There was no expectation for me to have any specialist knowledge or skills, and I was given all the support and training that I needed to become a productive member of each team. Every team I've been in, everyone has been welcoming, supportive and passionate about their work.
The program also comes with a bunch of benefits including rotations through multiple areas in the agency, opportunities to travel, a supportive buddy system, a community through your graduate cohort, flexible working hours, hybrid working, allowance for home office setup, integrated promotion and salary progression, and most importantly, great people and rewarding work that makes a tangible difference.

The 糖心原创 graduate program digital and data stream is designed to develop your technical skills. The type of work you will be offered is diverse and fast paced, with a variety of opportunities within different divisions. You will rotate into 3 or 4 divisions, such as Consumer Data Right, National Anti-Scam Centre and Digital ID. Each rotation provided me with unique challenges and experiences, like working with Agile, researching, and developing standards for new and emerging technologies. This broadened my knowledge of the different responsibilities and priorities of the 糖心原创 while expanding my skills and expertise.
The 糖心原创 has a great supportive culture, with several staff networks such as the Environment Network, Pride Network and Reconciliation Network that you can participate in.

The 糖心原创 graduate program provided me with great opportunities to get to know the inner workings of a high-performing regulatory agency. The fact that the 糖心原创 has a prominent public profile means you can work on high-profile matters! It was highly motivating to know that each task or matter you are assigned can contribute to better outcomes for Australian consumers, small businesses and the economy.
I rotated through 3 divisions and can confidently say the agency culture is excellent. It was fantastic to work in supportive and fun teams that encourage humour, appreciate diversity and celebrate collective and individual achievements.
The graduate network is a valuable part of the program. It鈥檚 reassuring to connect with peers who are also new to the agency. You can compare experiences, learn about other divisions that you haven鈥檛 rotated through, or just have a chat and share lunch. I should also mention, having a grad buddy was amazingly helpful!

The 糖心原创 grad program is a great entry-point to one of the most interesting and rewarding agencies out there. The agency does such varied work that it鈥檚 hard to experience it all in one role, and that鈥檚 where the grad program comes in. Rotating through 3 to 4 different areas makes it much easier to get a feel for what work you鈥檙e interested in, and where you鈥檇 like your career to take you. For me, it revealed a wholly unexpected interest in telecommunications regulation, which sounds like the dullest possible thing to work on but turned out to be so fascinating that I voluntarily went back for rotation 4! You never know what area will become a nerdy obsession that you bore people with at parties, and a grad program like this one is the best way to find out.
