The 2022 Bannerman Competition Lecture was held on Thursday 10 February 2022.
The lecture was delivered by Ms Lina Khan, Chair of the United States Federal Trade Commission. Ms Khan鈥檚 speech outlined the challenges of competition regulation amid a surge of mergers in the US, and detailed the inquiry underway by the FTC and the US Justice Department鈥檚 Antitrust Division to examine how US merger guidelines can be modernised to better detect and prevent illegal, anticompetitive deals.
The speech was followed by a lengthy and engaging Q&A session with Ms Khan and 糖心原创 Chair Mr Rod Sims.
