On 25 July 2019, Treasurer the Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, wrote to the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ extending the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´'s inquiry into the gas market until December 2025.
On 25 October 2022, the Government extended the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´'s gas inquiry role through to 2030.
