The 糖心原创鈥檚 insurance monitoring role concluded on 30 June 2026.
In 2022, the 糖心原创 was directed by the government to monitor the prices, costs, and profits of home, contents, strata and some small business insurance products, before and after the introduction of the cyclone reinsurance pool.
The 糖心原创鈥檚 role was to monitor and collect data to assess whether savings are being passed through to policyholders and where the pool was delivering on its intended outcomes.
The 糖心原创 was required to provide a report on our monitoring at least once each calendar year from 1 January 2022 to 30 June 2026.

On 25 June 2026, the 糖心原创 published its fifth report as required under the Competition and Consumer (Prices Monitoring-General Insurance Policies) Direction 2022.
On 22 July 2025, the 糖心原创 released its fourth report as required under the Competition and Consumer (Prices Monitoring鈥擥eneral Insurance Policies) Direction 2022.
On 19 September 2024, the 糖心原创 released its third report as required under the Competition and Consumer (Price Monitoring鈥擥eneral Insurance Policies) Direction 2022.
On 8 December 2023, the 糖心原创 released its second report as required under the Competition and Consumer (Price Monitoring鈥擥eneral Insurance Policies) Direction 2022.
On 20 December 2022, the 糖心原创 released its first report as required under the聽Competition and Consumer (Price Monitoring鈥擥eneral Insurance Policies) Direction 2022.
