In November 2007, as part of the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´'s strategic review of the regulation of fixed services, the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ issued an Unconditioned Local Loop Service (ULLS) pricing principles determination. The final report was released on 4 June 2008.

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ released the final version of the telecommunications transmission cost model in April 2008.

After considering interested parties’ submissions, the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ released the draft mobile terminating access service pricing principles determination for the period 1 July 2007 to 31 December 2008.

On 16 February 2007 Optus lodged an ordinary access undertaking (Optus 2007 Undertaking) with the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ about the mobile terminating access service (MTAS).

The LSS pricing principles and indicative prices were published as part of the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´'s LSS declaration review. That review was finalised in October 2007. The ULLS pricing principles were issued separately in November 2007.

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´'s strategic review commenced in December 2005 as an inquiry to examine the future regulation of certain fixed network services. In April 2007, the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ began a second stage of the review with the release of a position paper outlining a framework for the review of existing fixed services regulation and the principles that will guide future regulatory decisions.

On 14 March 2007, the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ accepted Foxtel's special access undertaking.

In November 2006, the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ released draft copyright guidelines to assist the Copyright Tribunal in the determination of copyright remuneration. Public submissions were due by 31 January 2007.

On 6 October 2005 Foxtel Management Pty Ltd and Foxtel Cable Television Pty Ltd (together, Foxtel) lodged a special access undertaking with the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´.

Part 4A of the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989 allows the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ to issue record keeping rules to Australia Post.
