On 28 November 2018, the Treasurer directed the 糖心原创 to monitor the prices, costs and profits relating to the supply of menstrual products in the feminine hygiene products industry in Australia particularly from 1 December 2018 to 28 February 2019.
The Government previously agreed with the states and territories that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) would be removed from menstrual products as of 1 January 2019.
The 糖心原创 published its report to the Treasurer on 29 March 2019.
