On 23 July 2026, NBN Co submitted proposed updates to its approved cost allocation manual (CAM) and accounting procedures (APs) under its special access undertaking (SAU). The proposed updates would allow NBN Co to:

• allocate dark fibre leasing costs associated with enterprise ethernet services and new developments
• maintain the alignment between the cost allocation manual and accounting procedures.

Consultation now open

We have published NBN Co’s updated documents and supporting letter. We are seeking stakeholder feedback on the proposed updates during a 2-week consultation. 

Submissions are due by Wednesday 12 August 2026.
