The annual review commenced when Water NSW submitted an application on 9 March 2015. The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ has reviewed the application and has published on this website both Water NSW’s application and the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´â€™s draft decision for consultation.
The Water Charge (Infrastructure) Rules 2010 require Water NSW to apply to the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ for approval or determination of its charges for the second and subsequent years of a regulatory period.
Water NSW submitted its application for 2015-16 charges to the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ on 9 March 2015.

Background
The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´â€™s 2014 Determination set maximum prices for 2014-15, and determined that prices for 2015-16 and 2016-17 would be calculated at the annual reviews according to an ‘unders and overs’ mechanism which takes account of updated actual and estimated usage volumes and inflation.
Rule 37 requires the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ to approve or determine the 2015-16 charges within three months of receiving the application, although there are provisions for extending the period. The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ anticipates that it will make a final decision on Water NSW’s application in early June 2015.
