Request for advice – omnibus spectrum4 Jul 2017
In July 2017, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ received a request for advice on allocation limits for an auction of unsold spectrum in the 1800 MHz, 2 GHz, 2.3 GHz and 3.4 GHz spectrum bands (the omnibus spectrum). Following the request, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ engaged in targeted consultation with relevant stakeholders.
The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ provided its advice to the Minister on 14 August 2017. On 4 September 2017, the Minister made a repeal direction which was consistent with the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´â€™s advice.
