On 8 March 2018, the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ received a request for advice from the Minister for Communications and the Arts regarding appropriate allocation limits for an auction of 125 MHz of available spectrum in the 3.6 GHz band in metropolitan and regional areas of Australia. The Minister has requested that the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ provide its advice by 30 April 2018.

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ undertook targeted consultation with relevant stakeholders on a range of issues to inform its consideration.

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ has not published submissions from stakeholders due to confidentiality issues.

On 4 May 2018, the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ provided its advice to the Minister. A public version of the advice can be found below.
