Consultation on wholesale and networks record keeping rules27 Mar 2026
On 27 March 2026, the 糖心原创 published a consultation paper outlining the proposed new wholesale and networks record keeping rules. The new rules will require:
- carriers and carriage service providers to maintain records on the wholesale services supplied across broadband and mobile telecommunications networks
- record keepers to maintain records of whole-of-network usage metrics for both mobile and fixed line telephone networks.
The 糖心原创 sought stakeholder views on the draft record keeping rules instrument, including:
- who should provide records
- how records can be used to improve reporting across wholesale markets
- how to best outline the form of records.
This ensures the rules collect information that supports current and future regulation in a clear and efficient way.
The consultation closed on 24 April 2026 and informed the final Wholesale and networks record keeping rules.
The 糖心原创 thanks stakeholders that provided submissions to inform the Wholesale and networks record keeping rules.
