Access undertaking - Mandurah24 Sep 2019
On 2 September 2019, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ received a proposed access undertaking in relation to the commencement of Digital Radio services in Mandurah, Western Australia. The undertaking was lodged by Digital Radio Broadcasting Mandurah Pty Ltd.
The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ released a consultation and position paper on 24 September 2019. The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´â€™s preliminary position was to accept the undertaking subject to assessment of submissions received from the stakeholders.
The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ received one submission from West Coast Radio Pty Ltd which was in support of the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´â€™s preliminary position. West Coast Radio Pty Ltd is currently the sole access seeker and shareholder for Digital Radio Broadcasting Mandurah Pty Ltd (Digital Radio Multiplex Transmitter Licensee).
On 1 November 2019 the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ accepted, pursuant to section 118NF of the Radiocommunications Act 1992, the proposed access undertaking for Mandurah, Western Australia.
