On 13 November 2024, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ published an initial consultation paper on the development of record keeping rules (RKR) for non-NBN superfast broadband network providers' service quality and network performance.
The consultation paper sought stakeholders’ views on the scope of the proposed record keeping rules, including which superfast broadband network providers should be required to keep and retain records and report to the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, the information they should be required to keep, and the level of detail. The consultation paper included proposed reporting metrics.
We received 5 submissions on 13 December 2024.
After considering submissions and holding a series of meetings with Opticomm, Vision Network and other stakeholders in 2025, we published draft record keeping rules for consultation on 29 October 2025.
